My Fave Monday...Porch Swings

I'm still on vacation time.  It hasn't even been a week since I've been back from the East Coast.  I had a brief opportunity to visit one of my best friends in Virginia.  I jumped at the chance, put my big girl panties on, and flew all by myself across the country!  It was a first for me, of a lot of things.  First time flying solo for such a long distance, first time in Virginia, first time in Washington D.C., first time alone without my girls for that long.  Then there was the porch swing...I didn't want to leave the damn porch swing!

I loved it there so much I had a moment where I thought I could just send for my girls and we could live in the green beauty of a state called Virginia.  I don't think my husband would have liked that so much though.  I eventually got my butt on the plane home but to tell you the truth, a piece of my heart is still there and I can't wait until the opportunity arrives for another visit.

So, you can guess, I haven't been crafting much lately but I managed to make a card Saturday afternoon while my husband and his buddies played Xbox.  That's kinda his thing.  Card making, well, that's more my thing.
