In an eager attempt to jump start my recent lag in the creativity department, I joined a group of amazingly talented women on Facebook, in a Twinchie Swap.  I know you may be asking, "What's a Twinchie?" At first glance, the word reads a bit inappropriate in my mind, akin to something that might get your hand slapped if you tried it more than once.  A Twinchie is a two inch by two inch piece of art.  Simple as that.  Some like to collect them or trade like an Artist Trading Card (ATC).  I've heard they're a popular alternative to the ATC due the smaller size and the time invested to make them.  Time is relative when it come to art, and after my little stint at making these so called "Twinchies", I'd have to disagree on the whole popular concept and more than less embrace a miniature pain in the a$$ stance!  Of course, I mean no disrespect to those who love to make these inappropriately named pieces of a$$...err..I mean art.  And I get that I ...

I'm still on vacation time.  It hasn't even been a week since I've been back from the East Coast.  I had a brief opportunity to visit one of my best friends in Virginia.  I jumped at the chance, put my big girl panties on, and flew all by myself across the country!  It was a first for me, of a lot of things.  First time flying solo for such a long distance, first time in Virginia, first time in Washington D.C., first time alone without my girls for that long.  Then there was the porch swing...I didn't want to leave the damn porch swing!     (me not getting off the swing and a nice reflection of me taking this picture shown in my sunglasses...)
