My Fave Monday...is not Valentine's Day

It's a non holiday as far as I'm concerned.  I don't like chocolate anyway, so...
I know, "GASP"! How is that possible?  I'm a girl and I don't like chocolate?   I don't hate it but if I had the choice, I'd choose these...
And these!

Oh how I love 6x6 paper packs...Don't you?  They're all the goodness of an entire collection of patterned paper in a convenient, cater to the card maker, size.  So convenient, in fact, you might not realize how many you have stored in a drawer...
until after you open another...

I'm thinking I should start looking for a better storage solution!

    I, too, love the 6x6 collections. However, I did start purchasing the 12x12 too so that I'm not so limited to size :)

    i love it adelle, i have a pile of 6x6. that is what i seem to order now instead of the 12x12. i love them..

I've been into making cards for the past five years or so.  Like a lot of paper crafters, I started out scrap booking.  I still do it but there is something about making a card that gives instant gratification to my impatient creative mind.  I love to have a project done start to finish in  a good hour.  Not so when it comes to scrap booking because there's all these moments, pictures and times to remember.  I might be exaggerating but that's how it seems to me. I have been MIA for awhile on my blog and feel like I have some 'splaining to do...I got a full time job. I haven't worked a full time job in eighteen years. When I had my daughter (she's 18 now) I went to part time work so I could take care of her, then to full time stay at home mom when I had my second daughter. We never wanted anyone else taking care of our kids, and like so many other parents out there, we decided I would only work part time if needed while we raised our kids. I was so fortunate to have the opportunity to be there for my children when they needed me most. I have to say that it was and always has been a conscious choice. Life is full of choices and we chose to have two wonderful children with a Mom who could stay home to raise them. I know what it's like to be left to daycare, preschools, babysitters and family members while growing up and I never wanted that for my own children.
